there are some smaller celestial bodies as well in the solar system. These small bodies are called satellites. The satellites revolve round the planets in the same way as the planets revolve the sun. Our earth has one satellites which we call the moon.
how many types of satellites ?
there are two types of satellites.
1, Natural satellites 2. Man-made satellites
1. natural satellites :- A natural satellites, or moon, is, in the most common usage, an astronomical body that orbits a planet or minor planet in the solar system.
2. man-made satellites :- A man-made satellites is a machine that is launched into spaces and orbits around a body in space. Example of man-made satellites includes the Hubble Space Telescope and the International Space Station.
